About the Role As we approach the upcoming dairy season, we are looking for skilled and enthusiastic drivers to join our team at Synlait Dunsandel. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with farmers, ensuring that each collection is conducted smoothly, safely, and in compliance with our high standards. Your driving expertise will be crucial as you navigate diverse terrains, from gravel tracks to rural roads. We expect our drivers to uphold the quality of service that our loyal customers and suppliers have come to expect from us. Work Pattern We offer a variety of work patterns for this role, including: - Full-time, permanent positions with a rotating 3/3/3 roster: 3 days on, 3 nights on, and 3 days off, with average shifts lasting 10 to 12 hours. - Full-time, fixed-term roles with a similar rotating 3/3/3 roster: These positions will cover the peak milk collection season from September to January, also featuring shifts of 10 to 12 hours. Requirements To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - A Class 5 Licence (or equivalent) with at least 2 years of driving experience. - Confidence in navigating narrow rural roads and gravel terrain. - Flexibility to work both day and night shifts, demonstrating reliability. - An aptitude for learning new technology, showcasing your adaptability. - A strong passion for teamwork and customer service; we would love to hear about your favorite moments in these areas.
