We are currently collaborating with a prominent national steel company based in Christchurch, and we are looking for an experienced Class 4/5 Driver to join their team. About the Role We are offering a temporary to permanent opportunity for a Class 4/5 Driver, with an immediate start available. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting steel materials within Christchurch and on designated out-of-town routes. Your primary duties will include: - Collaborating with warehouse and logistics teams to coordinate loading and unloading activities. - Upholding strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations throughout all transport operations. This is a day shift position, offering a competitive hourly wage of $29 to $32, with weekly pay. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following criteria: - A current Class 4/5 Licence with a clean driving record. - Experience in loading trucks; having a current OSH & F endorsement would be advantageous. - Physical fitness, as heavy lifting may be involved. - Flexibility to work extra hours when needed. - A strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
