About the Role We are seeking an experienced Class 4 or 5 HIAB Driver to become a valuable member of our team. This position is based in Christchurch East, and we are looking for someone who can start immediately. As a HIAB driver, you will be responsible for the safe operation of a Class 4 or 5 vehicle equipped with a HIAB crane, ensuring efficient loading and unloading of goods, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and vehicle upkeep. Key Responsibilities - Operate a Class 4 or 5 vehicle with HIAB crane in a safe and responsible manner - Efficiently load and unload goods to ensure timely delivery - Maintain vehicle and equipment in excellent working condition - Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to promote a safe work environment Requirements - A valid Class 4 or 5 driver’s license - Certification and experience as a HIAB operator - Forklift and OSH certificates are preferred - Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures - Reliable, punctual, and dedicated work ethic - Good communication and interpersonal skills - Valid working rights in New Zealand Benefits We offer a competitive hourly rate that reflects your experience and skills.
