About the Role We are currently seeking a dedicated Awake Night Shift Support Staff member to join our team in Woolston, Christchurch. This sole-charge role involves providing exceptional overnight support for adults with learning disabilities and complex health needs. The shift schedule for this position is from Thursday night through Monday night, with working hours from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The total hours for this role will be 80 hours per fortnight. Requirements To be considered for this role, ideally, you should hold the NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 2 or an equivalent qualification. More importantly, we are looking for individuals who possess: - A genuine passion for supporting people with intellectual disabilities - A full New Zealand driver's licence - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Good computer literacy Please note that while we are an accredited employer under the AEWV scheme, we do not hold a current Job Check for this role and therefore cannot support visa applications.
