About the Role We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a full-time Support Staff member in Kaiapoi. This role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of our residents by assisting them with their daily activities. Your responsibilities will include supporting residents with shopping, meal preparation, household chores, personal assistance, and community outings. Please note that Hawksbury is accredited to hire staff on an Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV). However, we do not have a Job Check for this position and are unable to support applicants with the visa process. Requirements To be successful in this role, you ideally will have an NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 2 or an equivalent qualification. Additionally, we are looking for candidates who possess the following: - A positive attitude towards supporting individuals with learning disabilities. - A full New Zealand driver's licence. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. - Proficient computer skills.
