About the Role
In this full-time position, you will oversee daily production activities, ensuring that our products are manufactured efficiently, safely, and in compliance with relevant regulatory standards. The role requires a minimum commitment of 30 hours per week.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning, organizing, and supervising daily production operations to meet output, quality, and delivery targets.
- Coordinating production schedules, labor allocation, and workflow to ensure efficient use of plant, equipment, and materials.
- Monitoring production processes to ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Managing raw materials, packaging materials, and inventory levels to prevent production delays and minimize waste.
- Overseeing equipment operation and maintenance in collaboration with technical and maintenance teams to reduce downtime.
- Identifying production issues, analyzing operational data, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensuring adherence to workplace health and safety policies, and identifying, controlling, and reporting risks.
- Training, supervising, and motivating production staff to uphold productivity, quality, and safety standards.
- Liaising with senior management regarding production performance, resource requirements, and operational improvements.
- Preparing production reports, forecasts, and relevant documentation related to output, costs, quality, and efficiency.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess:
- A relevant qualification in food science, manufacturing, engineering, or operations management, or at least five years of relevant production management experience.
- Experience in food, dairy, milk powder, or health supplement manufacturing is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage teams and achieve production targets.
- A solid understanding of health and safety, food safety, and quality management systems.
- The ability to analyze production data and implement practical operational improvements.
- Good communication skills and the capability to work effectively with management and production staff.
- A high level of attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Honesty, reliability, and professionalism in the workplace.
- A willingness to comply with company policies, including those related to health, safety, and maintaining a drug-free environment.
