Situated next to Wellington's waterfront, we pride ourselves on being the most centrally located five-star hotel in New Zealand's capital. Our hotel offers exceptional culinary experiences through five diverse food and beverage outlets, catering to every occasion.
About the Role
As a Food & Beverage Team Leader, you will utilize your friendly and approachable personality to create unforgettable experiences for our guests. You will provide excellent service, confidently engaging with a diverse range of guests and addressing any issues that arise. Your role will also involve training staff on service and product knowledge, ensuring the team operates smoothly and consistently delivers outstanding service.
In collaboration with the Food & Beverage Supervisor and Manager, you will implement new initiatives while focusing on developing your leadership skills to inspire and grow the team.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should be flexible and willing to work a rotating 7-day roster, which includes weekends and public holidays.
We are looking for candidates with:
- A minimum of one year of leadership experience in a restaurant, bar, or hotel environment
- A valid New Zealand visa or residency
- A commitment to delivering a high level of service that meets our customers' expectations
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with both customers and team members
