About the Role We are seeking full-time Scaffolders for permanent positions available nationwide in New Zealand. This role offers a competitive pay range from a minimum of $26.00 per hour to a maximum of $40.00 per hour, with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week. You will have the opportunity to work on significant infrastructure and commercial projects, with site locations determined by project demand. All necessary personal protective equipment and tools will be provided. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for: - Building and erecting scaffolding and working platforms for various construction projects, including stands and tiered seating for public events such as concerts and sporting events. - Inspecting areas requiring scaffolding and making calculations to determine the appropriate scaffolding needed. - Unloading materials, fitting tubing and braces together to form frameworks, and securing ladders, rails, and other attachments to the scaffolding. - Checking and maintaining scaffolding equipment, ensuring safety through regular inspections of scaffolding structures, and dismantling scaffolding upon project completion. - Performing all other duties as assigned. Requirements To be successful in this role, candidates should possess: - A minimum of 2 years of relevant scaffolding experience. - A friendly demeanor, strong time management skills, and an excellent work ethic. - A commitment to learning and developing skills within the industry. - Sound knowledge of health and safety procedures. - Reliability and a strong work ethic.
