About the Role
We are looking for a General/Internal Medicine Physician to join us at Taranaki Base Hospital on a full-time basis for a temporary period of 12 months, covering a sabbatical leave. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care within a busy yet supportive hospital environment. You will collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals to provide comprehensive medical services to our diverse community. The responsibilities of this position include acute and inpatient care, outpatient clinics, and participation in the general medicine on-call roster.

About You
The ideal candidate will be vocationally registered (or eligible for registration) with the Medical Council of New Zealand and hold a Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP) or an equivalent qualification. You should possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, along with a strong commitment to providing holistic and equitable patient care.
