About the Role We are currently seeking exceptional Casual Coordinators for Operational Support (Drivers) to join our team at our Mt Maunganui CPK. This role involves the physical delivery of products to multiple customer sites while representing the Compass Group brand. Key responsibilities include ensuring timely deliveries using provided vehicles, solving problems as they arise, and fostering strong customer relationships. The hours for this position will be on an "as and when required" basis during educational terms, with standard working hours aligned to the roster. Additional hours may be available during term breaks. Our operations run five days a week, so candidates must be available to work a rotating roster from Monday to Friday. Immediate availability is preferred. Your Responsibilities - Conduct safety checks on vehicles, ensuring proper fueling, maintenance, and cleanliness - Pickup and load meals, including packing, labeling, and sorting - Monitor meal temperatures and report any delivery discrepancies - Deliver meals while adhering to driving restrictions and timelines - Engage professionally with customers, staff, and students to address any issues - Communicate feedback promptly to management and keep the feedback provider informed - Manage the drop-off and pick-up of Cambros at assigned locations - Take appropriate actions concerning food safety and inform management as necessary - Report any accidents, incidents, or events that occur during deliveries - Carry out maintenance programs for all vehicles - Build positive relationships by regularly communicating with key customer contacts About You Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: - A valid, current Full Class 1 New Zealand Driver's Licence - A clean police criminal background check - Physical fitness and activity, as the role requires multiple stops within strict timelines - Reliability and a strong work ethic Benefits We offer a competitive remuneration package along with several benefits, including: - Training and development programs - Career development opportunities - Discounts on medical insurance, banking services, hotels, insurance, and more - Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance - Access to Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services If you are looking for a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team, we encourage you to apply.
