About the Role
We are currently seeking a Part-Time Customer/Service Person to join our team in Tauranga. This role offers 16 hours of work per week, primarily on Saturdays and Sundays. In this position, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our equipment is ready for hire, which is crucial to our operations. You will also provide advice and support to customers both over the phone and in-branch, helping them select the right equipment for their projects.
As a member of our team, you do not need prior industry experience; we will provide comprehensive training and development opportunities on the job. We are looking for individuals who have a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a team-oriented mindset.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should ideally possess the following:
- A full driver's license (other Classes and Endorsements are advantageous)
- Basic to intermediate computer skills
- Availability to work both Saturday and Sunday
- A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to collaborate with others
What You'll Learn

- How to effectively respond to phone inquiries and create customer contracts
- Providing guidance on the appropriate tools and machinery for various jobs
