About the Role This role offers an exceptional opportunity to work in one of the most isolated yet stunning environments in the world. We anticipate deployments from approximately October 2025 through March 2026. The work is demanding and requires a strong commitment, as you will be stationed for several months in Antarctica. As an HVAC Engineer, you will contribute to a large commercial construction project. Your responsibilities will include working with boilers, HVAC fans, unit heaters, hydronic pumps, wall radiators, and pipe fitting. We are looking for team players who are willing to roll up their sleeves and support their colleagues in this unique setting. Requirements To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria: - Must be a New Zealand or US citizen with a valid passport and currently residing in New Zealand. - Must be willing to receive Flu, Tdap, and MMR vaccinations. - Ability to commit to long hours, working six days a week. - Successful completion of medical and dental checks, as well as security clearance, is required before deployment. - Must possess a Full Class 1 NZ Driver Licence and maintain a clean criminal record. - Candidates should be prepared for a comprehensive application process that requires patience and attention to detail. - Travel to Tauranga for medical and dental exams is necessary, and we will cover testing and flight costs for candidates coming from outside the Bay of Plenty.
