About the Role We are excited to announce an opportunity for an AOD Clinician to join our Phoenix Service in Papakura. Our community-based outreach team is focused on delivering comprehensive alcohol and other drug (AOD) assessment and treatment. This is achieved through a balanced team of clinicians and peer support specialists. In this position, you will: - Conduct thorough clinical assessments and develop recovery-focused treatment plans tailored to tangata whaiora. - Deliver individual and group interventions within a culturally responsive and trauma-informed framework. - Collaborate effectively with tangata whaiora, their whanau, and other health and social service providers. - Contribute your clinical expertise within a multidisciplinary team environment. - Support a strong team culture that reflects our values and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi. About You We are looking for a compassionate and skilled clinician who is dedicated to supporting individuals facing substance use challenges. You will bring: - Full registration and a current Annual Practising Certificate with a recognized professional body (e.g., DAPAANZ, Nursing Council, SWRB). - Experience in clinical assessment, treatment planning, and facilitating both group and one-on-one interventions. - Strong skills in risk management and clinical documentation. - The ability to engage respectfully and effectively with Māori, Pacific peoples, and diverse communities. - A full, clean New Zealand driver's license. Preferred attributes include: - Experience with trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices. - Familiarity with community resources and multidisciplinary collaboration.
