For more information about our mission and services, please visit our website. About the Role We are currently seeking Support Workers for various shifts in Epuni. This role plays a crucial part in assisting individuals to develop their independence and acquire essential skills for daily living. The responsibilities may include helping clients with public transportation, employment, finances, and meal preparation. Depending on the specific needs of the individuals we support, you may also assist with shopping, cleaning, personal hygiene, and medication administration. Requirements While no prior experience in the health and disability sector is needed, we value a strong desire to pursue a career as a Support Worker, along with a positive attitude. We provide comprehensive training and orientation for those who demonstrate enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. Candidates must be available for flexible shifts, including weekends and overnight shifts. Proficiency in using computers and tablets is essential, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills. Physical fitness is required to provide necessary support, and applicants must possess a Full NZ driver's license or be willing to work towards obtaining one. Benefits We offer a competitive pay range of $23.84 - $29.10 per hour, depending on relevant qualifications, with opportunities for increased earnings as you gain further credentials. IDEA Services will support you in achieving Level 2, 3, and 4 Certificates in Health and Wellbeing.
