About the Role
We are currently seeking part-time Support Workers for positions in Epuni. This role involves assisting individuals in developing their independence and acquiring essential skills for daily living. Responsibilities may include helping with public transportation, employment tasks, financial management, and meal preparation. Depending on the specific environment, Support Workers may also assist with personal needs such as shopping, cleaning, showering, and medication administration.
Requirements
While prior experience in the health and disability sector is not necessary, we value a strong desire to pursue a career as a Support Worker and a positive attitude. Full training and orientation will be provided for those who show enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
Candidates must be available to work flexible shifts, including daytime, evening, overnight, and weekends. Proficiency in using computers and tablets is important, as are strong written and verbal communication skills. Applicants should be physically fit to provide necessary support and must possess a Full New Zealand driver’s license or be willing to work towards obtaining one.
Benefits
We offer a competitive pay range of $23.84 to $29.10 per hour, depending on relevant qualifications, with opportunities to earn more as you advance your education. IDEA Services supports employees in completing the Level 2, 3, and 4 Certificates in Health and Wellbeing qualifications.
