About the Role As we experience an increase in client inquiries in the Hutt Valley, we are looking to grow our team to ensure we can provide the necessary support to both new and existing clients. Our services operate 24 hours a day, offering a range of shifts including days, nights, and sleepover options, with a minimum shift duration of two hours. Our caregivers engage in various types of care, from companionship to palliative care, allowing us to match shifts with your specific skill set. We pride ourselves on our supportive work environment. Our dedicated office team is always available to provide guidance, and we have a registered nurse on staff to assist you in your role. Additionally, our after-hours coordination team is ready to support you during weekend and night shifts. Requirements We would love to hear from you if you have experience in the following areas: - Companionship and home help, which may include light housekeeping - Meal preparation - Personal care, including showering, dressing, and grooming - Dementia care - Palliative care The ideal candidate should possess: - Recent caregiving or healthcare experience (preferred) - A clean, full New Zealand Driver’s License and access to a car - Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills - The ability to work legally in New Zealand - A clear background and criminal check Benefits We feel privileged to support our clients in maintaining their independence while living in their own homes, and we greatly value the work our caregivers do.
