About the Role This is an exciting opportunity to advance your career with us in a fast-paced environment. As a key representative of Mitre 10, you will play an essential role in putting our customers first. Your day will involve a variety of tasks, from assisting customers with DIY projects to building relationships with our busy builders and commercial clients. Your responsibilities will include providing excellent customer service, picking and loading orders for delivery, maintaining stock, ensuring housekeeping standards, and operating point-of-sale systems. This is a permanent position that offers a great work/life balance, with 40 hours spread over four days each week. Requirements We are looking for candidates who possess: - Exceptional sales experience and strong interpersonal skills - Familiarity and interest in building products, power tools, and general hardware is advantageous - A friendly demeanor when interacting with customers - A strong sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment - Outstanding problem-solving skills - High energy, reliability, and dependability - A full driver's license - A forklift license is preferred, but we will provide full training to the right candidate - A willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges - The energy and drive to exceed expectations - Physical stamina and strength, as the role involves lifting heavy equipment and assisting customers with loading materials into their vehicles Benefits This role is both challenging and rewarding, offering an opportunity to grow and learn alongside a dedicated team.
