About the Role
We are currently seeking Casual Support Workers to assist individuals in our Kapiti residential services. This role is busy and diverse, requiring support in various aspects of daily life. The tasks may include helping individuals with personal care, meal preparation, household management, and engaging in recreational activities such as swimming. Support Workers play a crucial role in providing 24/7 assistance, working on shifts or specific rosters, with the opportunity for additional sleepover payments on certain schedules.
Requirements
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about helping others and possess a kind and understanding demeanor. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, particularly with individuals with disabilities and challenging behaviors. A full driver's license is essential.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate initiative in encouraging individuals to achieve their personal goals. We seek energetic, outgoing individuals who can think creatively and respect diverse perspectives and lifestyles. Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends, is necessary. Empathy, respect, and cultural awareness are vital, as the individuals we support come from various backgrounds with unique needs and interests.

In return for your dedication, we offer competitive pay rates ranging from $23.50 to $29.10 per hour.
