About the Role
In the position of Senior Supervisor in the Boning Room, you will oversee the daily operations of the facility. Your leadership will be essential in guiding a skilled team, developing work schedules, and ensuring timely and precise reporting. You will be instrumental in maintaining our high standards for production efficiency, safety, and product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and motivate the boning room team to achieve production targets.
- Develop and manage daily and weekly rosters and production schedules.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Monitor performance metrics and provide timely reporting to management.
- Support the training and development of team members.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operations.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a meat processing or boning room environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage and develop staff across multiple shifts.
- Strong organizational and scheduling abilities.
- Knowledge of HACCP, WHS, and food safety standards.
