We pride ourselves on our commitment to quality and safety, and we are currently seeking an experienced Drainage Supervisor to join our Auckland team. In this role, you will take charge on-site, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
About the Role
As a Drainage Supervisor, you will play a vital leadership role, overseeing and coordinating drainage crews across one or more project sites. Your primary focus will be to ensure that productivity, safety, and quality standards are consistently met. Key Responsibilities
- Lead drainage teams on-site, including Foremen, Leading Hands, and Engineers.
- Deliver on program targets by managing daily plans and weekly look-aheads.
- Foster a strong safety-first culture while upholding environmental and quality standards.
- Support project planning, procurement, and coordination of plant, labor, and subcontractors.
- Provide clear and effective communication to all stakeholders, including clients and consultants.
- Prepare daily reports and verify timesheets and plant records.
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in civil construction, with a focus on deep drainage and water infrastructure.
- Proven experience in leadership and crew supervision.
- Strong working knowledge of Job Safety and Environmental Analyses (JSEAs), work plans, and site safety systems.
- A recognized trade qualification in Drinking Water and Wastewater (Level 4 preferred).
- Competency in operating and managing heavy machinery, including excavators, trucks, and loaders.
- Excellent communication and planning skills.
