About the Role We are seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead our plant operations with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and team performance. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving operational efficiency, supporting our staff, and maintaining our environmental and operational standards. Key responsibilities include overseeing daily plant operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and product quality. You will lead and support your team, fostering a culture of respect and collaboration. Additionally, you will provide hands-on training for machinery use and forklift safety. You will monitor equipment, manage material and job changes, and report any maintenance issues. Ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) policies while promoting continuous improvement will also be an essential part of your role. You will support sustainability initiatives aligned with WM Porohita's Circular Economy goals, maintain accurate production records, and oversee correct packaging and labeling. Upholding our company values in all tasks is crucial, and you may be required to perform additional duties as necessary. This position will operate on a schedule from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, totaling 40 hours per week. Requirements The ideal candidate will have moderate experience in a supervisory or team leader role, with strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills. A mechanical aptitude and experience in a production environment are essential, along with competence in operating heavy machinery and forklifts. Knowledge of HSEQ legislation and systems is required, as is proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital communication tools. A current forklift and driver’s license are also necessary.
