About the Role We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Structures Supervisor to join our Auckland team. In this leadership role, you will be at the forefront of managing complex structural projects, including bridges, retaining walls, and both steel and concrete construction. What You'll Be Doing In this role, you will be responsible for the site-based delivery of complex structural projects. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading the coordination of labor, subcontractors, plant, and materials to meet productivity and program goals. - Managing daily site operations, which include safety documentation, toolbox talks, and short-term planning. - Supervising and mentoring Foremen, Engineers, and Leading Hands to ensure effective project execution. - Upholding the highest standards of health, safety, environmental, and quality performance. - Supporting planning and procurement efforts and contributing to work plans and Job Safety and Environmental Assessments (JSEAs). Requirements We are looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications: - A minimum of 14 years of experience in civil and structural construction, with expertise in formwork, steel structures, and concrete works. - Proven supervisory experience and the ability to manage multiple work fronts effectively. - A recognized trade qualification is preferred. - Proficiency in reading drawings, interpreting programs, and driving quality outcomes. - Comfort with technology and reporting tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. - Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust across teams. - A commitment to health, safety, and environmental best practices.
