At Kirimana Consultants, we are dedicated to enhancing civil infrastructure and building safer communities. We are currently seeking skilled Foremen/Supervisors to join our team in Auckland. If you have a strong background in civil construction and a passion for delivering quality work, we would love to hear from you.
About the Role
In this full-time position, you will supervise and lead a crew on various civil infrastructure projects. You will collaborate closely with Project Managers and Senior Management to ensure that all work is completed on time and within budget. Your role will require a solid understanding of civil works, including drainage, earthworks, and streetscapes/roading.
You will be responsible for maintaining accurate daily records, conducting toolbox meetings, and performing safety audits. Additionally, you will manage the allocation of resources, materials, and equipment, ensuring they are utilized effectively on-site. Building and maintaining relationships with subcontractors, clients, and suppliers will also be a key aspect of your role.
We expect you to uphold strict safety procedures, ensuring that your team is well-trained and compliant with all client requirements. You will serve as an inspiring role model, fostering a positive and nurturing work environment for your crew.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you will need:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in civil infrastructure
- A valid class 1 Full Driver's license
- Legal eligibility to work in New Zealand (citizen or resident)
- The ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
- References to verify your experience
- A tertiary education qualification in civil construction is an advantage, but not essential
