About the Role
We are excited to offer a rare opportunity for an enthusiastic, vocationally registered Ophthalmologist to join our dynamic team. We welcome applications from candidates who hold qualifications such as FRANZCO, American Board of Ophthalmology, FRCSC, or FRCOphth. We are also open to considering individuals currently in training positions who are looking to secure employment within the next twelve months.
This role is flexible, with options ranging from 0.5 to 1.0 FTE, and will involve participation in an on-call roster. The successful candidate will engage in a comprehensive ophthalmology role, including weekly outpatient clinics, operating sessions, and inpatient reviews. This position provides a balanced opportunity to work in both the public and private sectors.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
- Vocational registration as an Ophthalmologist (FRANZCO, American Board of Ophthalmology, FRCSC, or FRCOphth)
- A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
- The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility to participate in an on-call roster
