About the Role
We are currently seeking a Locum Radiologist to join our dynamic team as soon as possible. In this role, you will be essential in providing diagnostic imaging services and interpreting medical images for our patients. This position offers flexibility and the possibility of transitioning to permanent employment. Whether you are a newly qualified Specialist looking to expand your skills or an experienced Specialist wanting to apply your expertise in a new environment, we would love to hear from you.
The Team
Te Whatu Ora, Waitaha operates a busy radiology service based at Christchurch Hospital, the largest tertiary center in the South Island. Our service also includes several other sites, such as Christchurch Women’s Hospital and Burwood Hospital. Our new facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and presents a diverse case mix, including both local and regional, general and subspecialty work. Our team of general and subspecialty trained radiologists collaborates closely, fostering a supportive team culture that is a hallmark of our service.
For those with an academic interest, Te Whatu Ora, Waitaha is affiliated with the Otago Medical School, offering opportunities to contribute to undergraduate training. Additionally, we are part of the new health precinct, Te Papa Hauora, a collaborative network that integrates world-class healthcare, research, innovation, education, and industry, emphasizing population health in Christchurch.
