About the Role
We are currently seeking both full-time and part-time Psychiatrists to join our team in the vibrant city of Christchurch. Known as Otautahi, Christchurch offers a diverse environment for everyone. In your role as a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will work within our Adult General and Inpatient Service as part of our integrated system. You will encounter a variety of clinical presentations, contributing to both new admissions and ongoing care.
Requirements
We invite applications from Psychiatrists with experience in adult mental health, including inpatient, community, and psychiatric emergency services. You will thrive in quality-driven, forward-thinking multidisciplinary teams where collaboration and professionalism are paramount. Each day will present unique challenges and opportunities.
Your specialist knowledge and clinical expertise will be essential in delivering innovative acute and long-term care tailored to the needs of individuals. As a Psychiatrist, you will play a leading role in our established multidisciplinary teams and have the chance to contribute to the ongoing development of our client-centered frameworks.
To be considered for this position, you must be eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
