About the Role
We are currently seeking full-time Aluminum Fabricators to join our team. In this role, you will support project work throughout New Zealand, with site locations determined by project demand. This position is ideal for experienced fabricators who are willing to relocate or travel as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
As an Aluminum Fabricator, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Fabricating, assembling, and installing aluminum components and structures.
- Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings and blueprints.
- Operating hand and power tools specific to aluminum fabrication.
- Ensuring that all work adheres to health, safety, and quality standards.
- Traveling to different sites as required by project deployment.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in aluminum fabrication, whether locally or overseas.
- The ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Proficiency in welding, cutting, and shaping aluminum materials.
- A trade qualification or NZQA-recognized experience is preferred.
- The capability to work independently and travel between job sites.
- A strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
Nationwide Opportunity and Travel
While this role is listed in Marlborough, we are hiring for positions across all regions of New Zealand, depending on project requirements. The regions include:
North Island: Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawke’s Bay, Taranaki, Manawatu-Whanganui, Wellington.
South Island: Tasman, Nelson, Marlborough, West Coast, Canterbury, Otago, Southland.
We welcome applicants from any of these regions and expect candidates to be willing to travel or relocate as needed. The company will cover relocation costs.
