Description
About the Company
We are partnering with a well-established and reputable Civil Construction company that is set to begin a significant long-term infrastructure project. This major development will provide consistent work, opportunities for skill enhancement, and the chance to be part of a dedicated team involved in one of the region's key civil projects.
About the Role
We are seeking multiple experienced Civil Workers who ideally possess a Class 4 or 5 Driver's Licence along with WTR endorsements. We value team players who are adaptable, as daily tasks may vary.
This role primarily involves the construction of roads and related infrastructure. On certain days, you may be required to drive, while on others, you might operate machinery. Flexibility and a positive team attitude are essential.
Experience in bulk earthworks, drainage, and roading is highly advantageous. These positions also present a great opportunity for truck drivers looking to gain hands-on experience with machinery, as well as for machine operators interested in increasing their driving hours.
You will be working Monday to Friday, with a typical schedule from 7 AM to 5 PM, and some Saturday shifts may be required. Daily reporting to the site in Marlborough is expected, and occasional night shifts may arise as the project progresses.
If you have an interest in roading, machinery, or civil infrastructure work and are eager to develop your skills across various tasks, we encourage you to reach out for a discussion.
