About the Role
We are currently hiring full-time Scaffolders for various projects across all regions of New Zealand. This position offers a minimum of 30 guaranteed hours per week, with pay ranging from $26.00 to $40.00 per hour, depending on experience. Our roles are full-time and permanent, and we provide all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) and tools. You will have the chance to work on major infrastructure and commercial projects, contributing to significant developments in your community.
Key Responsibilities
As a Scaffolder, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Building and erecting scaffolding and working platforms for construction projects, as well as constructing stands and tiered seating for public events, such as concerts or sporting events.
- Inspecting project areas to determine the type of scaffolding required, unloading materials, and assembling frameworks by fitting tubing and braces together, as well as attaching ladders and other necessary components.
- Checking and maintaining scaffolding equipment, inspecting structures for safety, and dismantling scaffolding upon project completion.
- Performing any additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant scaffolding experience.
- A friendly demeanor, strong time management skills, and an excellent work ethic.
- A commitment to learning and developing your skills in the industry.
- A sound knowledge of health and safety procedures.
- A reliable and hardworking attitude.
Nationwide Opportunity and Travel
While this role is advertised in Marlborough, we are actively recruiting for positions that will be deployed throughout New Zealand, depending on project needs. The regions we cover include:
North Island: Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawke's Bay, Taranaki, Manawatū-Whanganui, Wellington.
South Island: Tasman, Nelson, Marlborough, West Coast, Canterbury, Otago, Southland.
We invite applicants from any of these regions, and candidates should be willing to travel or relocate as necessary. Relocation costs will be covered by the company.
