About the Role We are hiring full-time Structural Steel Fabricators for infrastructure and commercial construction projects throughout New Zealand. In this role, you will be responsible for the placement, securing, and tying of structural steel components according to engineering plans. You will play a vital role in ensuring structural integrity and compliance with safety standards. Our positions are full-time and permanent, with site locations assigned based on project demand. Key Responsibilities - Interpret engineering plans and drawings to accurately position and secure structural steel components. - Tie reinforcement steel using appropriate techniques for various reinforcement systems. - Collaborate with site teams to ensure timely and safe installation of steelwork. - Adhere to all health, safety, and quality standards on-site. - Work efficiently within large construction teams while meeting strict deadlines. Skills and Experience Required - A minimum of 2 years of experience in structural steel placement and reinforcement tying, whether locally or overseas. - Proficiency in reading and working from technical and engineering drawings. - Strong physical fitness and manual dexterity. - Knowledge of safety procedures and quality control in steel construction. - Experience in commercial, civil, or infrastructure construction projects is preferred. - Relevant trade experience or qualifications will be considered advantageous.
