We are excited to invite a new team member to join us as a Dealer Settlements Officer.
About the Role
In this role, you will be a vital part of our busy team, focusing on processing loan payouts submitted by our Dealer and Direct teams. You will be responsible for reviewing approximately 2,500 contracts each month and ensuring that all funds are remitted accurately. Your expertise will also be crucial in providing guidance on Anti-Money Laundering (AML) practices and ensuring compliance with financial regulations before any funds are released. We will provide comprehensive training on our products to set you up for success.
This position operates Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and offers the flexibility of remote work for one day a week once you are fully trained.
Key Duties Include
- Ensuring all loans comply with credit and regulatory requirements
- Answering phone calls and responding to emails from Dealers
- Providing guidance to both internal teams and external partners on contract-related inquiries
- Supporting Anti-Money Laundering and Customer Due Diligence initiatives
- Verifying that credit approval conditions are adhered to
- Using sound judgment to confirm that documentation meets approval standards
- Engaging with clients via phone or email to address any issues related to contracts or approvals
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following:
- Previous experience in a call center customer service environment
- Background in administration or data entry
- Relevant experience in financial services, insurance, or banking is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills and confidence in phone interactions
- Ability to manage a high volume of calls with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure
- Reliability and a strong work ethic
- Eligibility as a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident
