About the Role
We are seeking a skilled administrator to join our Radiology department and provide essential scheduling support for our team. This part-time position requires 16 hours of work per week, from Monday to Friday (0.4 FTE). The ideal candidate will possess exceptional learning, technical, and organizational abilities, with the capability to quickly grasp systems and processes. Collaboration with both administrative and clinical teams is essential in this role.
Requirements
The successful applicant will ideally have:
- Experience in an administrative role within the healthcare sector (experience with hospital software systems is advantageous but not mandatory).
- The ability to adapt quickly to cover colleagues during short notice or planned leave.
- Strong customer service skills and a commitment to delivering the best possible experience for our patients.
- The capacity to empathize and work compassionately with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Attention to detail, common sense, and effective problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and critical thinking abilities, including the willingness to challenge the status quo and contribute to process improvements.
- Advanced IT skills, particularly in MS Office.
- A positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks while managing time effectively.
- The capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
