Description
About the Company
We are a well-established, values-driven national business specializing in Frame & Truss manufacturing. Our commitment to quality and safety has positioned us as a leader in the industry, and we are currently seeking a Branch Manager who is capable and driven to make a significant impact in our operations.
About the Role
As the Branch Manager, you will lead a team of 19 at our busy manufacturing site. This role offers you full ownership of daily operations, team culture, safety, production, and commercial outcomes. You will have the autonomy to drive operational improvements while championing health and safety standards and maintaining high-quality outputs.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing production, sales, and customer relationships, ensuring strong service delivery, and enhancing our branch's presence in the local market. This position is a fixed-term contract with the potential to transition into a permanent role for the right candidate.
Requirements
We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role, ideally within the manufacturing, timber, or building products sectors. You should have a proven track record of leading teams and managing daily operations, safety, and performance.
Experience in full P&L and budget responsibility is essential, along with a solid understanding of supply chain management, scheduling, and stock control. Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset are crucial, and a tertiary qualification in business, commerce, or trade is preferred.
You will excel in this role if you are a practical leader who builds trust and delivers results. You should feel confident managing both people and processes, remain calm under pressure, and communicate clearly while being committed to the success of your team.
Benefits
In this position, you will enjoy true autonomy, allowing you to run the branch with complete ownership over people and performance. You will lead a cohesive and practical team in a fast-paced environment and benefit from the strong foundations of an established business with excellent systems and support. Additionally, you will have opportunities for ongoing development within our growing national group.
