Scaffolder - Marlborough

About the Role We are currently seeking experienced Scaffolders for multiple positions throughout the Marlborough region and beyond. As a Scaffolder, you will play a crucial role in supporting our projects by providing reliable and efficient scaffolding solutions. Flexibility to work at various locations across New Zealand is preferred, as you may be required to travel for assignments. Your primary responsibilities will include dismantling temporary metal scaffolding to create work platforms and structures on both building and industrial sites. Duties include: - Determining job requirements by planning and arranging scaffolding - Selecting and preparing necessary materials for each job - Loading and unloading scaffolding and equipment at the site - Erecting scaffold structures by lifting, positioning, and bolting sections together - Establishing platforms and implementing safety measures - Inspecting, maintaining, and repairing scaffolding for safety and stability - Installing guard rails and safety netting - Keeping the workspace and tools clean and organized - Adhering to health and safety requirements - Performing any other duties as assigned Pay Conditions The pay rate for this position ranges from a minimum of $29.66 to a maximum of $34.00 per hour, depending on experience. We guarantee a minimum of 30 hours of work per week. Requirements To be successful in this role, candidates should possess: - A minimum of 2.5 years of relevant scaffolding experience or a relevant qualification - A friendly demeanor, strong time management skills, and an excellent work ethic - Flexibility to work in various locations across the country - A commitment to learning and developing skills within the industry - Adherence to health and safety practices on-site - Reliability and a strong work ethic Please note that you may be required to work in multiple locations throughout New Zealand, including Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawke's Bay, Taranaki, Gisborne, Manawatu-Whanganui, Wellington, Marlborough, Nelson-Tasman, Canterbury, West Coast, Otago, and Southland.
