We are currently seeking a Specialist Pain Medicine Physician to join our innovative team in the picturesque region of Canterbury. Our Pain Management Centre at Burwood Hospital is at the forefront of managing chronic non-malignant pain, and we are looking for a dedicated professional to help us continue our mission.
About the Role
As a Specialist Pain Medicine Physician, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to support patients in regaining function and improving their overall well-being. You will have the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility that focuses on coordinated outpatient clinics, interventional procedures, and inpatient care. Additionally, you will contribute to the rebuilding of the Pain Management Centre and assist in regaining Faculty of Pain Medicine accreditation as a recognized training center.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:
- Eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand and able to meet the standards set by the Faculty of Pain Medicine.
- Proven experience working within holistic, interdisciplinary teams.
