About the Role We are currently seeking a Locum Radiologist to join our dynamic team as soon as possible. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing diagnostic imaging services and interpreting medical images for our patients. This position offers flexibility and the potential for permanent employment. Whether you are a newly qualified Specialist looking to expand your skills or an experienced Specialist seeking a new setting to apply your expertise, we would love to hear from you. The Team Te Whatu Ora, Waitaha is home to a busy radiology service located at Christchurch Hospital, the largest tertiary center in the South Island. Our service includes several other sites, such as Christchurch Women's and Burwood hospitals. Our new facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and offers a diverse range of cases, including both general and subspecialty work. We pride ourselves on a collaborative environment, where our mix of general and subspecialty trained radiologists work closely together, supported by a strong team culture. For those with an academic interest, Te Whatu Ora, Waitaha is affiliated with the Otago Medical School, providing opportunities to contribute to undergraduate training. Additionally, we are part of the innovative health precinct Te Papa Hauora, which integrates world-class healthcare, research, education, and industry, all with a focus on population health based in Christchurch. Requirements To be eligible for this role, you must be able to gain registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
