About the Role In this role, you will be responsible for building and erecting scaffolding and working platforms for various construction projects. Additionally, you may be tasked with constructing stands and tiered seating for public events, such as concerts and sporting events. Flexibility is key, as you may be required to travel across the country to support our projects. Your key responsibilities will include: - Inspecting areas that require scaffolding and making calculations to determine the appropriate scaffolding type. - Unloading materials and assembling tubing and braces to create frameworks, as well as installing ladders, rails, and other attachments. - Checking and maintaining scaffolding equipment, inspecting structures for safety, and dismantling scaffolding upon project completion. - Performing various other duties as assigned. Requirements We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience: - A minimum of one year of relevant scaffolding experience. - A friendly demeanor, strong time management skills, and an excellent work ethic. - A commitment to continuous learning and skill development within the industry. - A solid understanding of health and safety procedures. - Reliability and a strong work ethic. Benefits We offer a competitive pay range of $27.76 to $35.00 per hour, with a minimum guarantee of 30 hours of work per week. This is a permanent, full-time position, primarily based in Auckland, Waikato, Northland, Nelson, Canterbury, and Otago.
