About the Role
As an Electrician with us, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our electrical systems are installed, tested, and maintained to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include reviewing electrical layouts to ensure compliance with electrical and fire codes, installing and testing systems, and addressing any issues that arise. You will work closely with the Leading Hand, Supervisor, or Manager to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality specifications.
Flexibility is essential, as you may be required to work across various locations in the country to support our projects. We appreciate individuals who are willing to travel and adapt to different work environments.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates who possess the following skills and experience:
- Ideally, at least one year of relevant experience or a qualification equivalent to NZQF Level 1, although this is not compulsory.
- A friendly demeanor paired with strong time management skills and an excellent work ethic.
- A commitment to learning and developing your skills within the industry.
- A sound understanding of Health and Safety procedures.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
Benefits
We offer competitive pay conditions ranging from a minimum of $30.00 per hour to a maximum of $39.00 per hour. A minimum of 30 hours of work is guaranteed per week, and this position is permanent and full-time.
Location
This role may require occasional travel to various regions, including Auckland, Northland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawke's Bay, Taranaki, Gisborne, Whanganui-Manawatu, Wellington, Marlborough, Nelson-Tasman, Canterbury, West Coast, Otago, and Southland.
