About the Role
We are seeking licensed Gantry Crane Operators to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to start immediately, with potential for temporary to permanent employment. As a Gantry Crane Operator, you will play a crucial role in our operations by efficiently moving steel throughout the workshop.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Operating the Gantry Crane to transport steel within the workshop.
- Driving a forklift, if licensed.
- Measuring and cutting metal materials to specified lengths.
- Maintaining a tidy and organized workshop space.
- Collaborating effectively with team members and also working independently when required.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you will need the following qualifications and skills:
- A valid Gantry Crane Operators Certificate.
- A Forklift Operators Certificate, including an OSH Certificate and F Endorsement.
- Proven experience in using cutting tools and power tools.
- A strong commitment to health and safety protocols.
