    About the Company We are a reputable steel distributor located in Christchurch, dedicated to delivering high-quality products and services. Our team is committed to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment, and we are currently looking to expand our workforce by bringing on experienced Gantry Crane Operators. About the Role We are seeking licensed Gantry Crane Operators to join our team. This position offers the opportunity to start immediately, with potential for temporary to permanent employment. As a Gantry Crane Operator, you will play a crucial role in our operations by efficiently moving steel throughout the workshop. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for: - Operating the Gantry Crane to transport steel within the workshop. - Driving a forklift, if licensed. - Measuring and cutting metal materials to specified lengths. - Maintaining a tidy and organized workshop space. - Collaborating effectively with team members and also working independently when required. Requirements To be considered for this position, you will need the following qualifications and skills: - A valid Gantry Crane Operators Certificate. - A Forklift Operators Certificate, including an OSH Certificate and F Endorsement. - Proven experience in using cutting tools and power tools. - A strong commitment to health and safety protocols.
