Team Leader - Stone Benchtop Fabrication

About the Role We are seeking a hands-on leader to join our team, focusing on maintaining production efficiency, ensuring high-quality standards, and motivating our skilled workforce. In this role, you will have the autonomy to make a significant impact within our growing company. You will lead by example, working directly alongside the team to produce approximately 30 benchtops each week. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the production floor, which encompasses cutting, polishing, profiling, and quality control. You will address challenges as they arise, keep projects on track, and guarantee that every product leaving our factory meets our high standards. Additionally, you will play a key role in fostering a positive and engaging workplace culture. Requirements To excel in this position, you will need: - Extensive experience in stone benchtop fabrication, with knowledge of templating and installation being a plus. - The ability to remain calm and think quickly when faced with challenges. - A strong, positive leadership style that sets clear expectations and inspires team members. - A hands-on, solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving. - High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining quality standards. - Confidence in managing workflows and implementing process improvements. - Basic computer skills, including proficiency in email and Excel.
