About the Role
We are seeking empathetic and passionate Support Workers to join our Community Services team. This role is ideal for those looking to make a meaningful impact in their community. We offer a variety of employment options, including permanent full-time, part-time, and casual positions, allowing for flexibility to accommodate your other commitments.
As a Support Worker, you will be an integral part of a dedicated team, assisting clients in achieving their goals and reaching their potential. You will provide both practical and emotional support to help our clients maintain their independence within their homes and the community.
Your responsibilities will include following a care plan that may encompass:
- Meal preparation
- Community outings and integration
- Administration of medication
- Personal care tasks (such as showering and toileting)
- Home management duties
Requirements
We are looking for individuals who possess a strong desire to help and support others, striving for excellence in all that they do. The ideal candidates will have:
- Previous experience in healthcare or caregiving
- Excellent communication skills
- Relevant healthcare qualifications and training in manual stimulation
- A full New Zealand driver's license and reliable transport (required for most positions)

You can expect to earn between $23.50 and $29.10 per hour, depending on your experience and qualifications.
