About the Role We are currently offering full-time opportunities for Support Workers. In this role, you will assist individuals in enhancing their independence and developing essential daily living skills. Your responsibilities may include helping with public transportation, employment, financial management, and meal preparation. Depending on the specific needs of the individuals you support, you may also assist with tasks such as shopping, cleaning, personal hygiene, and administering medication. Requirements We welcome applicants without prior experience in the health and disability sector, provided they have a strong desire to build a career as a Support Worker and possess a positive attitude. Full training and orientation will be offered to those who demonstrate enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. Key requirements for this position include: - Availability for flexible shifts, including weekends and overnight sleepover shifts. - Proficiency in using computers and tablets on a daily basis. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Physical fitness to provide necessary physical support. - A Full NZ driver's license or a willingness to work towards obtaining one. Benefits We offer a competitive hourly rate ranging from $23.84 to $29.10, depending on relevant qualifications, with opportunities to earn more as you gain additional credentials.
