Shift Supervisor- afternoon

About the Role We are looking for a Shift Supervisor to lead our plant operations with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and team performance. In this crucial role, you will drive efficiency, support your staff, and uphold our environmental and operational standards. Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily plant operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and product quality. You will lead and support your team, fostering a culture that values respect and collaboration. Additionally, you will deliver hands-on training for machinery use and forklift safety, monitor equipment, manage material and job changes, and report any maintenance issues. Compliance with HSEQ policies is essential, and you will promote continuous improvement while supporting sustainability initiatives aligned with WM Porohita's Circular Economy goals. Maintaining accurate production records and ensuring correct packaging and labeling are also key components of this role. You will uphold our company values in all tasks and perform other duties as required. The shift for this position will be from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, totaling 40 hours per week. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should have moderate experience in a supervisory or team leader position. Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills are essential. Additionally, you should possess mechanical aptitude and experience in a production environment, along with competence in operating heavy machinery and forklifts. A solid understanding of HSEQ legislation and systems is important, as is proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital communication tools. A current forklift and driver's license are also required.
