About the Role
We are seeking a Consultant Dermatologist for a fixed-term position at 0.6 FTE, scheduled to conclude in October 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team of experienced Consultant Dermatologists, where you will engage in both inpatient and outpatient services. The role involves regular travel between Te Toka Tumai (Auckland) and Te Tai Tokerau (Northland).
In this position, you will provide comprehensive dermatological care, including outpatient and inpatient medical dermatology. You will also participate in our after-hours on-call service, contribute to dermatological research, and ensure quality assurance. Teaching and supervising trainee registrars and junior medical staff will be integral parts of your responsibilities. Additionally, there may be opportunities for you to develop a subspecialty service based on your interests and qualifications.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must be eligible for vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
