About the Role
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Permanent Part-time Menu Processor to join our team at Whanganui Hospital. This role involves working six hours over the weekends, specifically on Saturday and Sunday evenings from 3 PM to 6 PM.
As a Menu Processor, you will play a vital role in linking onsite ward staff, clinical Dietitians, and our Compass Group Production and Service team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all patients receive meals that align with their specific dietary requirements during their hospital stay. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for students in nutrition or dietetics, as well as anyone interested in gaining experience in food service or nutrition.
Requirements
We are looking for an ideal candidate who is a team player with excellent time management and customer care skills. Being computer literate is essential, and a background in the food industry is advantageous.
While a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167) is preferred, we are happy to provide training for those interested. You should possess superior customer service skills and, most importantly, demonstrate a passion for quality food and exceptional customer service.
