About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Permanent Part-time Menu Processor to join our team at Whanganui Hospital. This position involves working 9 hours per week, with shifts scheduled from Wednesday to Friday evenings, from 3 PM to 6 PM.
In this role, you will serve as a vital link between onsite ward staff, clinical Dietitians, and our Compass Group Production and Service team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all patients receive the correct meals tailored to their specific dietary requirements during their hospital stay. This is an excellent opportunity for nutrition or dietetic students, or anyone seeking experience in food service or nutrition.
Requirements
Our ideal candidate will be a team player with strong time management and customer care skills. Proficiency in computer usage is essential, and a background in the food industry would be advantageous. Ideally, you will possess a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167) or be willing to complete training for one. Exceptional customer service skills and a genuine passion for quality food and service are essential for success in this role.
