Description
About the Company
At Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora, we are dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services to all New Zealanders. Our commitment is deeply rooted in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and we strive to create a health system that is inclusive and responsive to the needs of our diverse population. We foster a workplace culture that values diversity and inclusivity, ensuring our team reflects the communities we serve.
About the Role
We are excited to announce openings for six Emergency Medicine/Rural Hospital Medicine Registrars at Taupo Hospital. This is a permanent, full-time position designed for both training and non-training registrars. As our population continues to grow and with an increasing number of events held in Taupo each year, we have developed a dynamic and sustainable medical model that offers an engaging clinical pathway. You will have the opportunity to work within a supportive environment, collaborating with senior medical officers, nursing staff, allied health professionals, and management.
The registrars will be part of a 24/7 roster, which may include rotations in rural hospital medicine (ward, clinic, and emergency department) or exclusively in the emergency department, depending on your preferences and experience. These positions will be available starting from 28 April 2025. If you are currently committed to another position and require flexibility regarding your start date, we are open to discussions.
