About the Role We are looking for an experienced Abdominal and Pelvic Radiologist to join our Radiology department at Waikato Hospital on a permanent, full-time basis (80 hours per fortnight). In this role, you will be responsible for interpreting and reporting various imaging studies, including CT, Ultrasound, X-Ray, and MRI. You will handle a diverse range of complex clinical cases within your area of expertise, focusing on hepatobiliary/pancreas, urology, gynecology, and gastrointestinal diseases. Your workload will also involve general radiology and acute imaging. You will have the opportunity to participate in multidisciplinary meetings, teach registrars, and contribute to the ongoing development of high standards within our department. Key Responsibilities - Reporting Radiologic studies - Supervising and teaching registrars - Participating in oncology multidisciplinary meetings About the Team/Service Waikato Hospital serves as a tertiary training hospital and a Level 1 Trauma Centre for the Waikato region, making it one of the busiest facilities in New Zealand. Our Radiology Department performs approximately 200,000 examinations annually, with a significant emphasis on Emergency and Trauma imaging as well as Oncology.
