About the Role We are currently accepting applications for Non-Training Registrar Positions for the 2026/2027 training year at Waikato Hospital. Candidates with at least two years of postgraduate hospital experience, including a range of surgical exposure, will be considered. Preference will be given to applicants who have shown a commitment to pursuing a career in ENT. Waikato Hospital is equipped with 550 general inpatient beds and performs over 34,000 surgical procedures annually across a 24-theatre operating suite. Our emergency department handles an average of 220 presentations per day. Please note that it is essential for you to provide three current references. About the Team/Service Waikato Hospital serves as a teaching hospital and the primary tertiary referral center for the Te Manawa Taki and Waikato regions, with a patient catchment of approximately 1,007,000 people. About You As an ENT Non-Training Registrar, you will ideally have completed your PGY3 or possess equivalent experience. While experience in Orthopaedics is a bonus, it is not a requirement.
