About the Role We are excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Sous Chef to join our team at the Linda Jones Retirement Village in Hamilton. This is a casual position that allows you to contribute to our innovative approach to food and dining. In this role, you will: - Collaborate with the kitchen team to create an exceptional dining experience that is 'good enough for mum.' - Provide coverage for the Senior Lead Chef during their days off. - Prepare a variety of delicious meals from our seasonal menus, ensuring they are rich in flavor and nutrition. - Cater to the dietary needs of our residents. - Assist in the preparation of specialty food for fine dining experiences and functions. - Maintain a focus on health and safety at all times. About You To thrive in our vibrant environment, you will need: - A New Zealand Certificate in Cookery (Level 3). - Proven experience as a Chef, with a track record of leading a team and managing a kitchen. - Outstanding communication skills. - A reliable, friendly, and professional demeanor.
